Dr. (Vaidya) Sanjay Kulkarni (Ayurvedacharya)
Dr. (Vaidya) Sanjay Kulkarni is an Ayurveda physician, consultant, teacher and panchakarma specialist with over 35 years of clinical and teaching experience. He specializes in Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis. He graduated in Ayurveda from the prestigious Pune University (India) in 1984 and received his degree of Ayurvedacharya – Bachelor’s of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). He started his career in 1984 as an Ayurvedic Physician in his native town, Ahmednagar in India and helped his patients suffering from chronic diseases restore a healthy and balanced life through Ayurvedic clinical practice and treatments.
In 1994, he was appointed as Ayurvedic consultant by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi under the guidance of whom he worked for 6 years. During the course of this time, he along with his wife Dr. (Vaidya) Anjani Kulkarni, travelled extensively around the globe including USA, Holland, Croatia, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and designed as well as supervised panchakarma programs, delivered lectures and held seminars for patients (including celebrities).
He was honored with the Prestigious Maharishi Award in 1999 in USA.
Since 2006, Dr. Sanjay and his wife are associated with the Sivananda Yoga Organization. Through this organization, Dr. Sanjay and his wife have travelled to various countries in Europe and the UK namely Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland and Austria with a goal of spreading awareness on Ayurveda through seminars, lectures and individualized consultations. He is an Ayurvedic motivational speaker and consultant to more than 200 students worldwide every year.
He and his wife are the founders and directors of Shruti Ayurveda Panchakarma Specialty Clinic and Shruti International Ayurveda Academy (SIAA) at Pune. He offers specialized, advanced and individualized panchakarma treatments along with courses on the wisdom of Ayurveda. He specializes in treating diabetes, heart diseases and obesity as well as reversal of type 2 diabetes with the help of lifestyle and dietary modifications. His focus lies in healing and educating patients with chronic disorders not only through various panchakarma treatments and Rasayana (rejuvenation) programs but also with the help of healing techniques such as yoga and meditation. He is a strong believer in Vastu (vedic architecture) which also reflects in his ayurvedic teachings.
